LiHelper changelog: what shipped, and when
Release notes for the LiHelper web app and the LiHelper Connector Chrome extension (current version 0.3.9). Dated where a release or submission date is on record; newest first.
A changelog is the running record of what changed in a product and when. This one covers both halves of LiHelper: the web app at lihelper.com, where posts are drafted, scheduled and published through LinkedIn's official API, and the LiHelper Connector, the free Chrome extension that syncs your analytics and runs the assisted actions in your own browser. Extension versions are listed by number; a date appears only where the publish or submission date is documented, and an entry that was superseded before it reached users says so. Features that shipped behind an admins-only flag are marked, because you may not see them yet.
How to read this page
Extension entries describe what the LiHelper Connector does differently in that version; the store updates installed copies automatically, and the Chrome extension page lists every permission and sync step for the current version. Web app entries describe changes you see at lihelper.com or in how the service runs; the ones that matter for your account's safety are explained on the security page. Infrastructure entries are included when they changed something you could notice, such as speed or reliability. The policy that ran in report-only mode since 14 September is now enforced, together with cross-origin opener isolation. Violations are still reported so regressions are caught.

Redis moved next to the API
The queue broker, scheduler and rate limiter now run on the same host as the API, after the hosted Redis tier's monthly command limit was exhausted and stalled background jobs. No user-facing change beyond reliability.

Post-as-Page assist updated for LinkedIn's 2026 Page admin dashboard: the composer is found behind "+ Create → Start a post", and a published post is confirmed from the card's header (Page name or Page link), so a Page post is no longer reported as unconfirmed. No new permissions.

Earlier milestones
Before the Chrome Web Store listing, the extension was sideloaded by early users and the automation moved out of a server-side browser in stages. These milestones are documented but not individually dated; they are listed newest first.
Phase 3: server-side browser removed
The cloud browser, stored session cookies and legacy scrape endpoints were deleted; every LinkedIn action now runs in the extension in your own browser, which ended the forced logouts the old approach caused.
Easy Apply assist in the extension
The extension walks the Easy Apply wizard in your own session; the server fills only what it knows, never guesses a screening question, and stops at the review step unless auto-submit is explicitly on.
Feed engagement autopilot
The extension reads your feed; the server decides per post what to like or comment on, drafts the comment, and queues it within the 40-like / 10-comment daily caps under the same circuit breaker.
Targeted likes and comments via a command queue
A pull-only queue lets you like or comment on a specific post from the popup, with server-side caps, deduplication and a ban-risk breaker; only page-confirmed actions count.
Analytics and post reads via the extension
Impressions, engagements, followers, profile views and per-post stats are read from your own LinkedIn tab and synced to the dashboard.

Changelog FAQ
How do I update the LiHelper Connector extension?
Installs from the Chrome Web Store update automatically; Chrome checks for new versions in the background. If the popup shows an update nudge, open chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode and click "Update", or reinstall from the Chrome Web Store listing. Sideloaded copies do not update themselves and should be replaced with the store version.
Why is a feature listed here that I cannot see?
New features often ship behind a feature flag that is on for admins only until it has been proven on real accounts, then promoted to everyone without a new release. Profile sync, per-post social counts and the Post-as-Page assist in 0.3.8 shipped that way. If an entry says "behind a flag" and you need it, email support.

Dates on this page are the documented publish or submit dates; where a build was superseded before it shipped, the entry says so.
